Theories and Models of Communication Science

Learn about the cognitive psychology of public communication: How do we process and evaluate information?


Brands and branding

Key questions in this module: How do you build a brand image? What is the importance of brands for companies? What influence does digitalisation have here?

The Master in Brand Management provides you with valuable expertise in marketing, brand management, and public relations, but also in design and creative techniques. You learn to design image and brand campaigns and are given tools to competently build and manage brands in the digital age. You can test and deepen your knowledge in various exciting practical projects.

In your Master’s degree, everything revolves around brands: you learn what marketing strategies look like, the rules according to which communication works and what role digital transformation plays. In addition to theory, the focus is on practical projects.

FC Bayern Munich

How does fan culture show itself in social media? Students developed solutions and social media strategies for the record holding champion.


Rolls Royce

In this project, the focus was on luxury. The core question was: Which communication channels are suitable to showcase luxury goods?


Porsche Museum

What does a dream car sound like? Students adapted the sound installation “Porsche in the Mix” for the internet and as a smartphone app.

Marketing Manager

You take over the planning of campaigns and organise the advertising for your product or brand. This also includes budget responsibility.


Brand Consultant

Together with your clients, you develop, manage and evaluate different brands: How can people see a brand through different eyes?


Corporate Communications Manager

You are responsible for internal and external communication – i.e. you make contact with customers, journalists, but also with employees.
