Bachelor Degree (Hons.) in Fashion Design

Bachelor Fashion Design with Honours will help student to prepare for employment in a career that related with fashion design. This programme will help student to gain essential knowledge in the industry such as design strategies and techniques, computer-aided design, advanced pattern making, art history and business marketing strategies.

Student also will get to know that while working with fashion, it will allows them to release their creativity and passion for fashion in variety of outlets. Whether they are designing dresses or editing a fashion spread for the next season’s latest trends, a career in fashion can be an exciting time for them.

This programme are developed not only to give knowledge but also the training and creative skills to help student pursue a career in the fashion industry. Besides being creative, student also need to have sewing and tailoring skills, in order to ensure their garment is creates to their true and explain how the clothing should be sewed.

Local Admission

• STPM: A pass in STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two (2) Subjects, or its equivalent; OR
• STAM: A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; OR
• Foundation / Matriculation: A certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent; OR
• Diploma:
• A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent; OR
• A pass in Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) / Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DKLM) / Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM) in suitable field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 subjected to Senate / Academic Board’s approval. Note: The HEPs are to conduct screening and provide necessary guidance specific to the discipline of the programme: OR
• A pass in DKM / DLKM / DVM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and at least two (2) years of working experience in a related discipline; OR
• APEL.A: Pass APEL.A T-6; OR
• A-Level: Pass GCE A-Level with a minimum in two (2) subjects; OR
• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass in UEC with Grade B in five (5) subjects; OR

Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

International Admission

The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:

• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Band 2.0
• Malaysian University English Test (MUET) – Band 2.0

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika’s English Program
