Taught by industry professional faculty, LIM’s MBA degree program in Luxury Brand Management teaches you how to navigate the current digital landscape and utilize data-driven insights to inform the strategic decisions necessary for building and maintaining successful luxury brands.


Coursework features a blend of theoretical insights and practical applications through case studies, guest lectures, and real-world projects, with an emphasis on applied learning via hands-on activities and a capstone experience. Specializations in Buying & Merchandising, Consumer Analytics, Creative Direction, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Sustainability in Fashion are offered, allowing you to tailor your education to your specific career goals and interests.


This program consists of 39 course credits and can be completed in two years.

The Luxury Brand Management curriculum takes a transdisciplinary approach, blending digital technology, luxury management, marketing, and branding. Sample courses include:

This is a STEM-designated program. Graduate students on an F-1 visa who receive a STEM degree can apply for a 24-month extension of their post-completion OPT (Optional Practical Training) if they have a job/job offer from an E-Verify employer and meet the required criteria.*


Students in this program may apply to do CPT (Curricular Practical Training) starting in their first semester.**


*Final determination to approve or deny post-completion OPT and the 24-month extension is made by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

  2. Transcripts: Submit official transcripts from the institution from which you earned (or will be earning) your undergraduate degree. We may also request transcripts from other colleges or universities you attended at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  3. Résumé: Share your professional and educational experiences through a résumé or curriculum vitae (CV) that demonstrates chronological work experience.
  4. Essay: Write a 350-500 word essay on one of the following topics:
  5. Describe your specific career aspirations and your reasons for pursuing a master's degree.
  6. Describe a career-related achievement or failure. How has this experience impacted your career?
  7. Discuss your commitment and dedication to working in the global fashion and lifestyle industry.
  8. Letter(s) of recommendation: Submit one letter of recommendation* from an academic or work-related reference. This letter should demonstrate insight into your teamwork, leadership, communication, and intellectual and interpersonal skills and abilities, as well as your strengths and weaknesses. (*Two letters of recommendation are required for MBA applicants.)
  9. Interview: All master’s degree applicants take part in an interview. Depending on if you are a domestic or international applicant, you can schedule an in-person, phone, or online interview.
  10. English Proficiency: All non-native English language speakers must demonstrate English language competency.
