The BS in Fashion Media program teaches students how to engage audiences and educates aspiring fashion media professionals on the fundamentals of media and media theory. Graduates acquire skills in media production, digital photography and filmmaking, as well as written and visual journalism.

Fashion Media majors examine contemporary issues in mass media and cultural choices that affect media around the world. Throughout their courses, students also gain experience using media tools and technology while creating a portfolio of writing, photography, or film projects.

Fashion Media majors comprise a large number of the magazine’s staff, taking on roles in editing, designing, writing, and marketing. Plus, all Fashion Media majors pitch articles for The Lexington Line and publish their work on its website.

To be considered for admission, the following must be submitted:

  2. Official transcript from most recent high school attended (high school diploma or equivalent required upon enrollment)
  3. Students may be evaluated for admission using an unofficial transcript, if an official transcript is not available at the time of decision. (See Proof of High School Graduation Policies)
  4. Official transcript from all colleges attended (transfer students only)

International students are required to submit all application materials and required documents in English. International students are also required to provide evidence of English proficiency, through one of the following ways:

  • Diagnostic exam of English proficiency (such as TOEFL)*
  • Prior academic coursework
  • Aptitude exam with a required English language section (such as the SAT)
  • English language learning certificate from an LIM College partner language school
  • English is a native language of the student’s country of origin.

* Official scores must be less than two years old
