Foundation in Business

Foundation In Business is designed to provide quality education in theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in various aspects of arts for those who wish to pursue Bachelor’s program at Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs). The students will be able to demonstrate understanding of facts, principles and processes, source and process data/information with digital technology applications, analyse information, identify and solve problems, as well as develop learning and communication skills and responsibility.

Student’s achievement and success in the NCF are measured through their attainment of learning outcomes of the program and its courses. These learning outcomes are statements on what students should know, understand and perform upon completing the program and courses of study.

First Semester

1. English I
2. Introduction to Marketing
3. Basic Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
4. Introduction to Management
5. Financial Accounting
6. Business Mathematics

Second Semester

1. English II
2. Introduction to Law
3. Management Accounting
4. Introduction to Finance
5. Entrepreneurship
6. Community Service

Third Semester

1. Essential of Economics
2. Writing & Research Skills

Local Admission

SPM / SPMV / O-Level:

Pass SPM / SPMV / O-level with credits in Five (5) subjects including Mathematics; OR

Notes:

Candidates who do not get honors in mathematics subjects need to follow the Reinforcement Mathematics course at the university

Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

International Admission

O-Level:

Pass O-Level with at least Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics and two Science subjects; OR

Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government AND according to national conditions as certified by the University Senate

The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:

• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Band 5.5
• TOEFL: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Score 500

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika’s English Program

The Foundation in Business (FIB) programme provides the necessary preparation for admission into UGM’s undergraduate programmes. FIB students will be given a conditional offer into one of UGM’s undergraduate programme, subject to meeting the entry requirements.Some options of Degree that available at our college if you want to pursue study here:
