In the Master Data Science - Business Analytics you will deal in depth with descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive data analysis methods and will be able to assess and evaluate the performance of companies of all sizes and industries. You will acquire profound skills in the areas of data mining, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to determine the likelihood of future developments on the markets and to steer your company safely and successfully into the future. 

You will be able to answer questions about the reasons for these developments and derive well-founded recommendations for upcoming decisions. You will develop a strong understanding of the effects and interactions of different marketing activities and will be able to advise marketing experts appropriately on the development of markets and the use of marketing resources. 

In the Financial Analytics module, you will analyse the specific financial processes, financial functions, and financial data of companies. You will be able to assess investments, create forecasts, determine strategic financial targets, and significantly improve the company's profitability. 

In the People Analytics module, you will collect and evaluate HR data in conjunction with other company data. This provides you with valuable information on collaboration, satisfaction and potential areas for improvement and allows you to derive meaningful measures for improvement. By analyzing the data intelligently, you will make a significant contribution to the positive development of employees and, consequently, the company. 

In the Supply Chain Analytics module, you will deal with global value chains and value-creation networks. You will analyse and combine data from different company systems to gain insights into the procurement, processing, and distribution of all kinds of products and derive measures for optimisation. 

The Business Analytics - Entrepreneurship module enables you to establish and develop companies. You will deal in detail with all phases of founding a company, paying particular attention to financial, legal, and organizational aspects. You will learn how to convince investors for your project. The module focuses on developing and testing the business idea and business model.
