Bachelor of Science in Architecture

Bachelor of Science in Architecture in the process of getting accreditation, Final Approval (FA) from LAM. Students will learn from highly qualified academicians who are practising architects with research experience about in-depth knowledge and understanding of the application of structure, materials, technologies and systems that will impact the field of architecture, through modules such as Building Construction and Materials as well as Building Services. Students will also be able to select from a wide range of elective modules in specialised areas of expertise and research interest of the academicians. The program also includes lecture series, external design reviews, field trips, site visits, opportunity to participate in Activity Week, and international study trips.

Students also gain valuable exposure via 7-week fieldwork in Year 1 which requires students to document historical and heritage buildings. The syllabus of this program has been designed to include subjects ranging from designing, drawing, services and others.

Local Admission

• STPM: Pass with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) Subjects including Mathematics; OR
• STAM: Pass with rank “Jayyid” AND get Grade C in Mathematics at SPM (or equivalent) OR;
• Foundation / Matriculation: Pass programme in related fields from any IPTA / IPTS / Institution that recognized by Malaysia Goverment with at least PNGK 2.0 including Mathematics; OR
• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Pass with at least Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics; OR;
• Diploma: Pass Diploma (Level 4, KKM) in relevant field with at least Grade (CGPA 2.00); OR

The minimum requirements for a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) or its equivalent are as follows:

• Pass DKM/DLKM/DVM with at least a PNDK of 2.50 subject to the approval of the Senate/Academic Board of the relevant institution; OR
• Pass DKM/DLKM/DVM with at least CGPA 2.00 AND have at least two (2) years of work experience in a related field.
• Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

International Admission

The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:

• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Band 5.5
• TOEFL: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Score 450

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo International’s English Program
