In our Bachelor Interior Design & Scenography programme, you will learn to design multisensory spaces, immersive environments, and narrative-driven experiences that connect people with brands, stories, and emotions.

The programme goes beyond traditional interior design: It focuses on spatial concepts where lighting, sound, materials, media technology, and spatial communication come together to shape experiences – whether for permanent or temporary use.

From brand worlds, exhibitions, hospitality spaces, new work environments, retail concepts, flagship stores, to trade fair stands – you will develop designs that are aesthetic, functional, communicative, and strategically aligned with brand identities or thematic goals.

Graduates of the Interior Design & Scenography (B.A.) programme pursue diverse, future-focused careers in the fields of interior design, scenography, spatial communication, and brand experience design.

Whether shaping immersive exhibitions, developing brand environments, reimagining office and hospitality spaces, or crafting temporary and event-based experiences – you'll be prepared to create spaces that inspire, communicate, and connect.

From working at creative agencies, architectural studios or exhibition firms to launching your own design practice, this degree equips you with the tools to bring ambitious spatial concepts to life. The programme also opens doors to freelance and entrepreneurial paths in event design, pop-up architecture, scenography, and spatial storytelling.

As a graduate of this interior design degree, you’ll be qualified for a wide range of creative roles. The excellent facilities at SRH University allow you to refine your academic and professional profile through hands-on work in workshops, photo and film studios, and real project settings.

You’ll be in demand wherever three-dimensional communication, narrative design, and experiential space creation are key.

Career options include:

  • Brand Experience Designer
  • Spatial Storyteller
  • Hospitality Designer
  • Interior Designer
  • Exhibition Designer
  • Set Designer
  • Scenographer
  • New Workplace Designer
  • Design Studio Founder

In addition, the internationally recognised Bachelor of Arts degree qualifies you for a variety of Master’s programmes and postgraduate studies.

In the Bachelor Interior Design & Scenography, you explore a wide range of spatial design disciplines. You learn to create immersive retail spaces, pop-up concepts, and flagship stores that engage customers through storytelling. Exhibition and trade fair design modules teach you how to develop multi-sensory, narrative-driven environments for cultural or commercial themes. You’ll also shape the future of work and hospitality by designing flexible offices, co-working spaces, and social venues that enhance interaction and well-being.

Digital and interactive media are integrated into the curriculum, helping you enrich spaces with technological and emotional depth. Based on design methodology, storytelling, and sustainable material research, you will gain the skills to develop and plan compelling spatial experiences from concept to execution. Hands-on projects, workshops, and real-world briefs allow you to build a strong portfolio and prepare for careers in scenography, retail design, and brand experience.
