Full-time: minimum 3 Semesters (1.5 Academic Years), maximum 6 Semesters (3 Academic Years)

Part-time: minimum 6 Semesters (3 Academic Years), maximum 8 Semesters (4 Academic Years)

The objective of this program is to equip graduates with:

• Mastery of in-depth knowledge in the field of Aqidah, including the ability to analyze classical (turath) thoughts and ideas.
• Profound understanding in the subfields of Aqidah, with the ability to analyze and synthesize differing opinions among scholars.
• The capability to apply principles, theories, and methodologies of Aqidah subfields in relevant contemporary contexts.
• The ability to conduct comparative studies involving Islamic thought, religion, and humanity.

Student can be religious teacher, Sariah consultant, Sariah staff, Islamic banker, Sariah law, adviser Sariah banker, Islamic scholar, Islamic Financial consultant, Islamic Finance Sales, Islamic Teacher, Islamic Educator, Auditor Islamic Banking, Islamic Financial Planner, Medical Islamic Officer, Admin Islamic Officer.

• A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Honours) with good grades from MEDIU, or any other institutions of higher learning recognized by the university OR any other certificate that is recognized as equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) or other relevant professional qualification and experience that are recognized by the University.
• A relevant General Bachelor’s degree (without Honours) with at least one year working experience, and, if deemed necessary, an applicant may be interviewed and/or required to sit for an entrance test in order to determine determine the applicants eligibility for admission to a specific programme.
• The department of faculty may, with the approval of the University Academic Council (UAC), require the applicant to satisfy additional conditions for admission to a specific programme.
